Hi everyone, it’s time for our weekly update! Our team is well aware of the current situation regarding the DOPX supply. Therefore, despite the regular wrap-up, we also come up with the latest announcement in this article.
Special Announcement — Actions Towards DOPX Supply Control
As mentioned, we are well aware of the current situation of DOPX price that has dropped significantly for the past week, which affects the stability of KUSD, both results in negative effect for the ecosystem.
With a lot of redemption of KUSD, there is an unprecedented increase in DOPX supply.
One of the main problems is that the current reward of using KUSD is not worth holding, together with a lot of selling. While we are expanding partnerships to utilize KUSD, with some more coming up this month, we decide to make some changes to the current DOPX situation.
In order to mitigate this problem, we will make adjustments as follows:
- DOPX emission rate will be increased by 10 times. On average, this should increase APR by a lot. We believe this emission might reduce the minting DOPX from redemption and hence the supply is better controlled
- KUSD-BUSD-USDC LPs farm will be increased to 300x
- DOPX single pool farm will be decreased to 5x
- All other stablecoin pools farm will be reduced to 10x
The changes will be effective on November 1, 2021, 11 PM UTC.
Please note that this adjustment is made as a preliminary action and is subject to change after monitoring the market.
